Happy New Year! The entire staff at Delmarva Bike Week® and the Beast of the East hopes everybody had a great Holiday season! Well now all we have to do is get through the next few months and things should start warming up and everyone will be ready to ride. Speaking of riding ya might want to start fixing up those scooters and get ready for the 3rd Annual Beast of the East Custom Bike Show.
This year’s show looks like its going to be better than ever before! We’ve got a ton of new bike builders on board for the show this year. We’d like to thank all the builders and vendors that have shown their support in the past and look forward to seeing all of you back this year! Don’t forget folks the winning builder this year will receive $10,000 so if you think you’ve got what it takes give us a shout before we run out of space. Hey lets not forget the “Ride in Show” that will be going on Saturday April22nd. Anyone who rides their bike in that day can enter to win the ride in show, so while you’re inside enjoying all that the Beast of the East has to offer our judges will be outside looking over your cool machines. We will be giving out Trophies for the winners of the Ride in Bike Show at 2pm.
Hey check this out…EVERYBODY that pays an admission to see the show this year will be allowed to enter their name to win a major door prize…the custom bike of their choice!!! Iron Core Customs and Dominion Motorcycles out of Virginia Beach will be building two custom bikes and on Sunday we’ll be drawing one name and that lucky person’s going to be picking which one their taking home!!! We’ll also be drawing names throughout the show for other great prizes so come on in and try your luck.
Here’s another cool thing that’s happening. Harley-Davidson of Ocean City is doing a raffle for a cruise for two on the “Hogs on the High Seas” 2006 Western Caribbean cruise. Take it from us, that cruise is a Blast!! A few of the Delmarva Bike Week® crew went it last year and man it was fun! It’s a whole new spin on Motorcycle Rallies. Just imagine a cruise ship full of bikers from all over the world. Feel free to check out the feature on the Delmarva Bike Week® website for some great pictures of the cruise. We met folks from Alaska, Canada, Japan and just about every state in North America.
